Inspired by wintery views of Mt Baw Baw
Those who live in Gippsland will be used to the snow capped views of Mt Baw Baw this time of year. As you drive along the highway you’ll often catch a glimpse as you look north – and it is one I have been seeing a lot recently.
I was inspired by the scene to create this piece for a local art show I’m entering. Called The Twisted Tanjil (edition of 4 prints) it is more of an experimental style taking in the view up the twisting Tanjil River towards Mt Baw Baw.
The Tanjil Valley Art Show is a great local Gippsland event held in Hill End across the Queen’s Birthday weekend (Kings Birthday now). Check out their Facebook page for information and support the event.
