I love the traditional culture and natural beauty of Japan's countryside, especially the rice terraces in Motoyama Town, Kochi Prefecture. Having lived in rural Japan, I've had the privilege of immersing myself in the stunning scenery of Japanese rice paddies.
Living in Niseko Japan
We moved to Niseko, Hokkaido, where I found awe-inspiring snow scenes. The village, nestled amidst picturesque mountains, receives a staggering amount of snowfall and offers stunning views of Mt Yotei, serving inspiration for my artwork.
Shikoku’s Tallest Mountain
When I was living in central Shikoku there was endless inspiration from the spectacular mountain scenery. One particular place in Ehime Prefecture provided inspiration for this artwork.
