Incognito Art Show

Art for a great cause

This year I had the pleasure of participating in the Incognito Art Show for the first time. It’s a great show that contributes proceeds to programs that assist artists with disabilities. All artwork is $100 and you don’t know who the artist is until you’ve purchased the piece. The show embodies everything that art is about – bringing people together, making art accessible and contributing to a great cause. The online sale is still on until 22nd June 2025 so check out the many amazing pieces.

I entered two pieces which both sold! Thank you to the new owners, it’s great to know that the two pieces have a new home.

The first is a watercolour artwork of the Mitta Mitta River Valley that runs along the Alpine Rail Trail between Tallangatta and Corryong. The Mitta Mitta River meandering along the valley is quite beautiful on a clear day. The second artwork is the lino print below ‘Winter Torii Gate’, inspired by snowy drives in the Hokkaido countryside. Specifically of a wooden torii gate standing in a field of snow on the outskirts of Rankoshi Town, with the blazing sun setting behind and casting shadows across the untouched fields. The Washi paper was specifically chosen to depict falling snow.
